II. Regular coursework
III. Games
  • I. Announcements
    • A. Hey there, folks. I'm sorry that I'm not here, but at least it's on an easy day in the computer lab.
      • If you've forgotten them, logins and passwords are here.
  • II. Regular Coursework
    • A. We did a Problem of the Week last week, and you have an assignment now to solve it and write your answer out online at the Math Forum. You can work with each other to solve the problem, but you each have to write up your own response according to the rubric ...
    • B. The problems and rubrics for grading the POWs are here.
    • C. If you've already got your username from me, you can log in on another site. If not, I'll give it to you Monday. You still need to start working on the problem now though. You just won't be able to post what you type up today.
  • III. Games
    •  A. Geometry, email headquarters if you want to hire a producer or buy studio time for an artist. Nothing will happen until you figure out how much to pay them and tell us! Figure it out and email them at HitSeekerHQ@gmail.com Time I$ Money!
    • B. Everyone (Algebra too)  must start on the Problem of the Week today before you play games. You can work alone of with partners. Figure out how to log on then spend 25 minutes or more working on the problem. What do you need to figure out? What information do you have? What information do you need?
    • C. We're competing with that Dumbarton school on Manga High. Log in there and earn a couple of medals today to keep us in the lead. We're tied, and I'll bring in candy or snacks for the day's hero. Jonathan gets something for being Wednesday's winner already.
    • D. For today's work, after you've worked on the POW, you can play Lure of the Labyrinth, Manga High, or CoolMath.com.
