1) On the back of your Ch. 3 packet, write a list from 1 - 16. (Give yourself maybe a finger's width between each line if you're just starting.)
2) On pg. 206 is the Ch. 3 Test. DO NOT copy or do the questions. (Don't copy or do the questions.)
3) Look at question 1 and then flip back to the beginning of Ch. 3, pg. 146. (It might help to have a bookmark).
4) See if you can find information about that question in that section. (You can, in the box at the bottom.)
5) On the back of your Ch. 3 packet, next to the 1), write the Chapter and section number (3-1) and the page number (pg. 146).
1) 3-1, pg. 146
2)
3)
...
6) Go back to question 2 on pg. 206; look at it; go back and find the section and page number for that question.
NOTE: Some of the examples may look sort of like the test questions, but they need to match up exactly (e.g. there are some pictures of parallel lines in 3-1, pg. 147, but they don't have the variable expressions that are in question 4. Keep going until you find those questions in 3-2, pg. 155)
7) Find the references for each of the 16 test questions.
8) When you've found the references for each of the questions, go back to the beginning of the packet and find the definitions of the vocabulary words for the chapter.
*) Also, try going to quizlet and practicing them (http://quizlet.com/7037147/holt-chapter-3-vocab-flash-cards/). You can play as a guest, or you can make a free account (they won't spam you) and save your high scores.
