Welcome back to school, our second semester together at Bishop Conaty! I have been out this last week because LAUSD got an extra THIRD week off for Winter Break. How lucky am I!
We'll be starting a new program this semester. It's called ALEKS, and it's an online artificially intelligent math tutor that only goes over things that you need at least a little help on. As soon as you learn the material and answer a few sets of questions correctly (and all the notes you need for that are right there for you!), you get that section of your progress pie shaded in a little more :-) Because you may not get a chance to see me on any given week, we're going to be doing almost everything online. Check my blog here for links to the assignments. Whatever you don't get to do on your visits to me, you can do anywhere you have internet access. One other reason that we'll be doing things online is that I will most likely start working at a second school this semester as well so won't be here with you at Bishop Conaty every day :-(
